Building a Pelican (February 3rd 2001, part 1)

February 3rd 2001

Week 31 of our follow-up of the building of a Pelican Sport from Ultravia Aero International Inc.

small parts
This week, different type of work is ongoing. What is on the table is all the parts left (well almost...). They are down to detail assembly now.
team work
Luc and Christian again have friendly help this week. Jean-Luc Arsenault is installing the break hoses. Jean-Claude Pasquet (near the tail) will work on the front wheel.
break
On these pictures we can see the flexible tubing going to the brakes through the main gear leg fairing.

On these two pictures two locking plates for the main gear can be seen on each side. If they want to go from "trike" to a "taildragger' configuration all they ahce to do is tranfer the main gear legs from the rear to the front holes. The two fixation plates will be used simultaneously if they put the Pelican on floats.
