Week 29 of our follow-up of the building of a Pelican Sport from Ultravia Aero International Inc.


Santa Claus may have comed a few days late but left behind lots of toys for grown-up kids!

Thus begins the instrumentation of the plane!

Instruments
Tachometer
Tachometer (tachmeter) and Hourmeter.

The tachometer indicates the engine revolution per minute (RPM).
The hourmeter provides an accurate record of the total time the engine has been operated. This information is vital for proper engine maintenance.

Engine Oil Temperature indicator
Exhaust Gas Temperature Indicator.
Reads exhaust gas temperature on two different cylindres at the same time (700-1700oF). Insures proper setting of carburator and timing.
Fuel gauges
Fuel gauges (Independant reading from each of the two reservoirs)
Cylinder Head Temperature indicator
Amp-Voltmeter
Cylinder Head Temperature indicator (100-700oF
Amp-Voltmeter
