Building a Pelican (September 10th 2000, part 1)

September 10th 2000 Week 11 of our follow-up of the building of a Pelican Sport from Ultravia Aero International Inc.

In the next page we will take a look at this week's progress in the building of this plane. Let's rather go back a little and take a look at work being done in Christian's workshop on one of the wings. Pictures were taken on August 12th and 13th 2000.

The left wing underside. The wing ribs were prepared with the application of an undercoat paint (primer). The metal sheating is beginning to be installed on the underside.

The metal sheats are all in place on the underside.

A look at the wing "root" and the space in which one reservoir is to be installed. The reservoir have been rinced a few times yet to rid them of impureties and residues.

A primer paint coat has been applied to the interior of the metal sheating.
